The Weather Core

This is my character Summerbee, the weather core.
He was created a while ago by some scientists trapped in Aperture Science. Depressed by the oppressive atmosphere of their cramped laboratory, the scientists decided to create a side project, something to complete when they had spare time. And so Summerbee was born, and was designated a weather core.
Since the scientists could never see the outside world, they programmed Summerbee to have a antennae that could tap into weather satellites. Summerbee would be able to dictate the weather and project it onto the walls, so the scientists could feel somewhat less trapped. After a while, the scientists became extremely attached to Summerbee and decided to give him a wider range of attributes. Summerbee took an interest in hang-gliding, and they built him a hang-glider.
When GLaDOS began her hostile take-over, Summerbee was deactivated and stored. GLaDOS is convinced that Summerbee is corrupt and doesn't see a point in a weather core. Summerbee maintains that "You always need someone to tell the weather!"
