spinning
spinning with a smokey tail
so majestic, soaring
soaring with a whistling
it flies, straighter than the very arrow
of Sagittarius
to meet it's mark upon
yonder hill

it collides
like a dove with the window of a high rise
and in the explosion
throwing skyward the man
who catches a glimpse of heaven
before he is thrust down to hell

now again
out from the dark shaft of the machine
which only serves, like a birdcage
to house the bird, before it flies
but now, it's direction has changed
and it's destination much closer
and easier, and with no obstacles
it flies and detonates like the brief life of so many fir
